You can expect a wide variety of services in our walk in clinic. Also we are comitted to serve people in Whitby and Durham area during after hours and weekends when access to physician is difficult. We understand the difficulty of visiting emergency department with a simple infection when you have to wait few hours to get an antibiotic prescription. This is why we planned to run this walk in clinic to help sick people who will otherwise have to visit emergency department and wait several hours.
The purpose of urgent care in this community is to provide patients care for minor injuries and illness which is not life threatening. We are able to manage minor injuries which only needs stitches. In case if an X Ray is mandatory or other specialist involvement is needed, we will recommend you to go to emergency department after initial assessment. If you are in doubt, please visit an Emergency department instead. We are also able to treat several acute medical conditions including several infections and other acute medical conditions which do not mandate inpatient management or hospital admission. Our physicians will arrange the necessary investigations, treatment and referral to specialist when necessary.
We are able to deal with your need for a sick note if seen at the same time. We offer pre employment physical and driver's physical as well. Please note most of these forms are not covered by OHIP and there will be a charge for such service.
We offer chronic disease management such as Diabetes care, Hypertension management, COPD management, Asthma management, Chronic Kidney disease management, Dyslipidamia and also several chronic disease management for non attached patients.
We offer onsite laboratory services including blood sample, urine sample collection, collection of swabs and sexually transmitted disease screening.
WE DO OFFER HOUSE CALL SERVICES IN SPECIAL SITUATION. THIS SERVICE IS MAINLY FOR PEOPLE WHO HAVE CHALLENGES TO VISIT A DOCTOR FOR AGE, MOBILITY ISSUES OR DEMENTIA OR OTHER MEDICAL CONDITION WHICH MAKES IT DIFFICULT FOR THEM TO ACCESS TO HEALTHCARE.
THE HOUSE CALL SERVICE IS TO BE ARRANGED WITH THE ON DUTY PHYSICIAN BASED ON AVAILABILITY. IT IS BASED ON AVAILABILITY OF PHYSICIAN AND ONLY OFFERED IF THE ON CALL PHYSICIAN AGREES WITH THE HOUSE CALL.

IN HOUSE BLOOD SAMPLE COLLECTION CAN ALSO BE ARRANGED DURING A HOUSE CALL IF NEEDED. BLOOD SAMPLE COLLECTION IS DONE BY CERTIFIED LAB TECHS.

We are able to manage several non life threateneing medical conditions and injuries. We offer repair/stitches for minor injuries. The injuries which needs radiological imaging and has immediate threat for life or limb to be directed to the emergency department. We are able to manage several non life threatening medical conditions. We do have in house ECG and other lab facilities to evaluate several medical conditions.
We have no appointment policy. Patients will be seen as first come first serve basis. Please note that we have no triage system at this moment and will be seeing patients as per their serial numbers only. We will accept the last patient till the time shown in our board.
We do not prescribe Narcotics, neurostimulant and controlled substance in this walk in clinic.
We do not do well baby care and childhood immunization in our clinic.
We do not provide routine or emergency care related to pregnancy .
As we do not have a well established triage system, the service is mainly offered as first come first serve basis.
We do not book appointment in this clinic.
We are located in Central Whitby. The main intersections are Anderson and Manning Street. It is in Pringle Creek Plaza near FoodLand and Pharmasave Pharmacy.
